  Slab City is a great experience to have, but maybe not for everyone. Salvation Mountain is a special spot. Liked the skatespot, the art, and people were friendly, but a bit sketchy. Might want to lock your car, and be careful where you explore. Border patrol was hard at work. Questioned me longer than normal at the border check on the way out.

  Come with an open mind and heart or don't come at all! Great place. A rare living piece of Americana. See the last free place in America while it's still there!
